Oscars 2009: Star Jewelry Style that Stole the Scene

On the biggest night in Hollywood, all the celebrities flock to the Academy Awards to celebrate their achievements and walk the red carpet in noteworthy stylish designs from head to toe. Each actress primps and prepares for the event weeks in advance to achieve a final look that is drop dead gorgeous. The result is a whirlwind of extravagant diamonds and jewels fit for a queen. Here are just some of the notable actresses and the jewelry they wore:

Angelina Jolie – Always a knockout, Angie wore giant multi-carat $2.5M emerald pear drop earrings and a statement cocktail ring to infuse elements of color to her black ensemble.
